An Overview of Some of the Services Offered by Guth Law SCW

Comprehensive Legal Solutions and Child Advocate

Expertly tailored legal representation aligned with your specific needs. Areas of practice include most areas of family law (pre- and post- judgement, enforcement, child support and maintenance, guardianships), harassment and abuse restraining orders/ injunctions, and certain criminal charges. I can also act as a GAL of the court, looking out for kids’ best interests and advocate for children in special education.

If your subject matter is not listed, but you want to talk about it, I am more than happy to listen first and then decide where best to go from there, even if it is not with me.

It does not matter if you are a client or not; if you need a document notarized in Wisconsin, I am happy to help. I offer this service free to the public.

Just give me a call, or book a 15 minute notary appointment (in person only).

When you come, be sure to bring as many copies of the document as you will need, and proof of identification (passport, driver license, State issued ID, or some sort of comparable photo identification).

Let’s Get Married!

Are you and your loved one ready to begin your journey together in the eyes of our community and our laws? Rev. Steven D. Guth, Esq. can help you navigate the legal requirements of your marriage as well as officiate a standard or personalized ceremony in Wisconsin. The ceremony may be composed entirely, partly, or not at all by the espoused. If you are ready to take the leap, let Rev. Steven D. Guth, Esq. take you both by the hands and guide you as you begin your beautiful journey together.

For a reduced rate, I can help you with your pro se forms in case you wanted to do things on your own.

I can offer instructions on which forms you might need to fill and how to fill them out, as well as explain procedural expectations.

This is not to be confused with representation. By asking for pro se help I am not your attorney. I can give legal information, but I cannot and shall not give legal advice - I shall not tell you what you should do, but if appropriate I can let you know what you are allowed to do.

Contact Me - feel free to ask me very general questions about my services. Do not ask me for legal advice, I will not give it; do not offer confidential information, I do not want it. If you have more than basic questions that are answerable by information in the general public sphere, I highly encourage you to click on a Book Now! button to schedule your free 30 minute initial meeting with me.

If you have any requests out of the norm (e.g. “I work nights and am only available at 2 a.m.; can we schedule an appointment still?” (the answer is yes)) or general questions not answered on the site, you may use this form to ask me questions. I am only able to provide information, not advice, until we sign an agreement.

Submission of an inquiry or any other statement via this form, email, or any other transmission does not constitute any explicit or implied contract or agreement of representation with me or by me. Until we sign an agreement, I am not your attorney. We both want to make sure we are a good fit for each other before we jump in - Thanks Folks! - Steven D. Guth, Esq.
